Design, develop and maintain high-quality code to meet product specification and development schedules.
Identify, evaluate and learn new technologies.
Responsible for participation in the full life-cycle of the product, including requirements design, technical design, task estimation, implementation, testing, debugging, and deployment.
Ownership of major features and components of our System Management Platform.
Architect, design and implement major features and components from requirements, write functional and technical specifications.
Help drive effective processes and design and coding standards for software development.
Perform code and design reviews.
Mentor junior developers.
Support product release schedule and implementation of the production code.
Work with QA, Development Support & Doc Team.

Požadujeme

University degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experience
Min. 5 years programming experience in Java/J2EE
Demonstrated journeyman ability in Java/J2EE
Experience programming network applications
Ability to work in a team developing SW designed for Linux administrators on Linux platform
Interest in development of network-based applications based on OSS project Spacewalk
Ability to lead and advise other members of the team technologically-wise, ability to discuss and implement new technologies in the project
